Lifescape Associates recently volunteered with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver to build a home for Apolinar Bustamante and his family. Apolinar works as a laborer for Casi Colorado, an asphalt services company, while his wife, Abelina, works in customer service for Las Americas. Apolinar and his family were thrilled for the opportunity to move into a home and out of their small problem filled apartment just off Federal Boulevard in southwest Denver. Not only did their apartment not have air conditioning, it was in area plagued with crime, graffiti, noise and traffic accidents.
Lifescape Associates was hard at work on the Bustamante’s duplex house in Denver. While we were there, we worked on insulation and drywall. The Bustamante’s new Habitat home will be in southwest Denver, but in a quieter, lower-crime area, and still near Lincoln High School for Jesus and Marizol and near work for Apolinar and Abelina. While we were there, we worked on insulation and drywall.
Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver builds and sells homes to hard-working people in need of decent and affordable housing.
The Bustamante’s are excited to be moving to a new, clean, energy efficient home where they will have peace and quiet.
