1. Make sure the valve handle is turned at a 45 degree angle.
2. Wrap the backflow device in a towel.
3. Then wrap everything in a plastic bag secured with tape.

Once you have drained the water, your sprinkler system will not be operational and that’s when you are ready to have your sprinkler system winterized.
