While public spaces don’t always offer the “wow” factor in regards to holiday decorations, that is not the case with the Governor’s Residence at  Boettcher Mansion. The American Society of Interior Designers Colorado was given the challenge to transform the mansion into a winter wonderland in preparation for free public tours this holiday season, and the result will not disappoint.

This year’s theme is holiday cultural classics, and rooms throughout the mansion feature holiday decor inspired by shows such as “The Polar Express,” “A Christmas Carol,” and “The Nutcracker.” Spectators will be delighted by the festive and whimsical approach that each designer has taken with their assignments.

Lifescape Colorado is Proud to Install Holiday Lighting at the Governor’s Mansion

2017 marks the fifth consecutive year that Lifescape has been asked to decorate this beautiful and historic mansion. While the American Society of Interior Designers Colorado decorated the property’s interior, the Lifescape team was pleased to once again be asked to illuminate the exterior grounds, including the Millennial Tree. We are honored to have been trusted by the Colorado design community for this unique opportunity year after year.

Free public tours will be offered Thursday through Sunday,  December 14-17 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. This annual holiday event attracts a crowd, so we suggest arriving early to secure a tour. If you’ll be coming with a larger group, email info@grpfund.org to make a reservation.

While visiting, be sure to see the stunning Colorado landscaping features that the property offers, including a pond, fountain-centered rose garden, and a solarium.
